Why take the time and expense to rebuild your old small block when you can bolt in a
300 horsepower magnum engine for about the same cost? Mopar Performance Parts builds a
Magnum 300 engine with all new parts: a hydraulic roller camshaft, swirl port cylinder heads with
1.925” intake valves and 1.625” exhaust valves, high performance valve springs, an M1 dual plane
intake manifold, high volume oil pump and our electronic ignition package. The engine is dressed
up with black wrinkle Mopar valve covers and chrome accents. Dyno testing with a 750 cfm
carburetor and 1 5/8” headers show horsepower output at 300+ @ 4750 rpm; peak torque of 375
ft-lbs @ 4400 rpm, with over 300 ft-lbs of torque available from 3000 to 5000 rpm.
Order up a completely new engine and do a one day swap instead of a four-week rebuild.
